A Thousand Miles

Ahhh
Such a wonderful day today. Beautiful. 70 degrees, clear blue sky, and gentle breeze just enough to raise the goosebumps. Florida at its finest. Such an inspiring day. Yet, during most of it i felt like i was a thousand miles away, making my way through the day floating on the clouds. There was way too much rhyming in that sentence.
Everyone has a comfort zone. A place where they surround themselves with walls of steel that will keep them secure of their emotions and their thoughts. A place in which they can always retreat to if things get little crazy. Some people are much more confident and don't even have a comfort zone, simply because they are comfortable everywhere. Others would rather stay in those comfort zones there whole lives instead of stepping out into the world. I'm somewhere between those two extremes. Today, i stepped out of my comfort zone, i ventured out to a place not often traveled by myself. I have to admit, I'm quite glad i did, even though it didn't go as perfectly crafted in my head, but then, what actually ever does?
Now that I've had a taste of this life outside my comfort zone, i feel eager to travel outside again, because its an amazing world out there, and you just have to jump and hope you land on your feet. Like the taco bell commercial, In this new world, anything is possible.

But i digress. Great workout today. 6 800's, and i did all of them at around 2:35, and the final one i hit 2:17. it was amazing. I was rewarded with my ears popping and a splitting headache afterwards, but worth it on the whole.

Picture today is a great one of my cat around Christmas last year. Doesn't really go with the theme today, but i came across it and had to put it in. She looks kinda like a devil cat, doesn't she?
