Well today i slept all the way till 10. It was great. Woke up, ate some waffles, and talked with V for awhile until i got a phone call from my Aunt. Let me give a little back story here. She is a Media teacher at Rivers Edge Elementary school, but she also works for a kids party company called laf-o-lot. She called me at 11 and asked if i could help her at a party she had to go to at 1 o'clock. I said yes and a quick hour later, we were arriving at the party. See, the reason she was there was because she was going to dress up as Spongebob and put on a show for the kids. I was sorta gonna be the deliberator for her. I went up to the house and the mom told me that no kids had shown up yet for the birthday party, so we should come back in a half hour. So my aunt and i went to my Aunt Lynn Marie's house to see my little cousin, Chase. Hes only 2 and hes soo cute.
When we finally got back to the party, only 4 kids had shown up. So my aunt dressed up and we sorta winged it. All but one of the girls didn't run screaming and crying in the other direction when my Aunt got near in the Spongebob outfit, and all she would do was throw little plastic balls at her. When we finally left, i started to pull out when we heard the tires start spinning and we weren't moving. We had parked in the mud without even realizing it. Luckily there were construction workers next door and they helped us get out.
When i got home, i ate bagel bites for lunch (again), and then i sat at the computer for awhile until i got so antsy i had to go running. It was a pretty good run. I finished in 34:49 after 5 miles, and was barely breathing hard, even after running the final half mile in 2 minutes and forty nine seconds.
Then i took a dip in the pool (still freezing cold), and then watched tv for a few hours. At 8, for some reason, i was driven by the need to clean up the house, probably due to the complete bored state i was trapped in. So i cranked up the tunes and cleaned my room, the bathroom, the living, washed the dishes, and did some laundry. Two hours later, the house was clean and i still was bored. Oh well. The day left a lot to be desired, and brought hopes of better days.
Today the song is Better Days by Goo Goo Dolls.
