Hey wassup everybody! Or at least, all who are crazy enough to the crazy ramble of thoughts that is my blog. Today was pretty fun, and i don't even know why. It wasn't in any day out of the ordinary, but somehow i had this general feeling right down to my veins that there was something grander, something that made me want to yell out loud with delight. I don't why, maybe it was just something in the air.
Anyways, lets start at the beginning. The Spanish test was sooooooooooooooo hard today. It was 15 O's hard. Lets just say that its a good thing i'm really good at Spanish, or i would've been screwed. I was one of only 6 to finish. Among them were Juan Arana, 4 Spanish speaking ninth graders, and kelvan drummond (i don't know how that one worked out), and me. I didn't even get to the extra credit.
Then in second period we were bombarded by once again teachers that make absolutely no sense. Mr. Brazee preaches the first 5 minutes on how all of his classes are going to fall behind because of that Math test on wednesday (sounds like fun), then speeds through our notes so we're done by 8:15 with 25 minutes left in class, and says we can stop for today, instead of making up for time we are going to lose.
Then spooney said the most hilarious thing ive heard her say all year. We were going over the literary devices in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and she said
"I just want to talk about this one line because its really good; 'He was very cool and gave no resistance, but gave me one look, so ugly that it brought out the sweat on me like running.' You know class when someone just gives you such an evil stare that it takes the breath out of you?"
All i could think of was the spooner death stare (you know, the one that she reserves for you when she is truly angry) and i could hardly contain my laughing. The entire back left of the classroom started laughing (discreetly), because we all were thinking the same thing. "Mrs. Spooner, you are one that gives me those stares".
Then Gieger was boring as usual, and engineering, we had a test review, and Web masters, did a pretty cool photoshop tutorial on a solar system with a planet effect. And in algebra, more FCAT books. At practice, we ran 8 200's at 34-35 second pace, with a jog 200 in between, just something to get the heart pumping and ready for Wednesdays meet.
Man this post has been long, but im gonna wrap it up i promise, just one more thing.
I turned in the class schedule sheet for next year. I went with Chemistry ll, and then ultimately decided on Engineering 2, but all the web masters classes for my other choices. So, whats meant to be will be (or as Sam puts it, whats forced to be will be).
