Well, just another tuesday, in a long line of tuesdays that make up my life. This one had very little to report, so i guess i wont write much.
Well, nothing much to say about today. At practice we ran a light 3 miles around the villages, around 21 minutes. Thats really scary to type, just realizing how good of shape im in, its mind boggling. At the beginning of Cross country this year, i could barely even run a 21 minute 3 mile, now im clipping days off like that and not even breaking a sweat. Tomorrow will probably even lighter in preparation for the meet. Maybe some light 200's, get the legs feeling a fast pace, then done till Districts.
Well, tonite i was feeling antsy, so i decided to do a half mile to see what i had in the tank. It was so just on the moment that i got up and decided to walk out the door and as soon as my foot hit asphalt i was off at something like 60 second pace (or 15 miles per hour). I slowed a little bit, went by the quarter at 64, and then tried to pick it up a little. I ended up finishing at 2:09, which made me somewhat happy. Even happier when i realized that didn't even make me tired. I mean, i was breathing hard, and my body was a little shocked at the speed it just ran, but aside from that, all good.
Well, thats it for me for today. Song today is My Happy Ending by Avril Lavigne.
Hasta luego!

i thought it was like impossible to run 15 mph. i mean i know when you walk, it's like 2 or 3 mph. running must be 7 or 8 typically. i suppose a quick sprint like you described could be that fast...i don't even know
dang, how do you measure you running speed? ill bet you are actually closer too.. hmm.. what was that number..
3 x 10^8m/s ? i think thats about right. rounded off really far anyways.
oh and a double comment!
now you just need to beat .83 seconds for a distance of 10m. obviously not from starting line.
