Well, just another monday. The only thing thats different about this monday is that its my sixtieth post! Woooh Hooo! Approximately sixty days ago, i started doing a blog, and have done a pretty good job of keeping up with it. This blog has brought many changes in my life, many insights about myself and others that i will always have with me. If it hadnt been for my keeping a blog, i know my life would be very different right now.
All that sappy stuff aside, today was really ordinary. Just skated by without really paying attention to anything. At practice, we did "broken 800's". Thats where you run an 500, then a 300 after a 2 minute break. We had to do them at 60 second 400 pace, but the first 500 was slow (we hit 1:18 instead of 1:15). But the rest of the workout was right on pace, and the second set i did really good, so im really confident going into regionals on thursday. Right now im seeded eighth in the region right now, and i need to finish in the top four to advance to states. Cross your fingers!
Gosh, i hate when teachers assign busy work that takes a long time to accomplish. For instance, We're learning quadratic equations in Algebra, and its really easy. But Mrs. Reynen had to go an assign homework thats not hard, but extremely time-consuming. It took me and hour!
Anyways....i gotta get going now. Song today is Wont Go Home Without You by Maroon 5.
