Well, it has been quite the interesting couple of days as of late. Friday was a letdown, mostly because of the days somewhat boring activities, and partly due to my own...tribulations. I did end up being put in the trivia by Melissa last minute, and i actually answered 4 questions correctly, and would've gotten two more if i had been faster on the trigger. The rest of the schoolday went by uneventfully, and i went over to Lucas' house. We watched a few South Parks, had some smoothies, and then made our way to the Civic Center to go to Winter Park for the State Meet. It was a long ride because the other coach messed up the directions and we ended up driving around in circles in Orlando for an hour, but that's neither here nor there (i love that phrase but im not quite sure its applicable here, oh well). Our apartment was amazazing. It had a full walk in kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, oven, toaster, and microwave; plus it had pots, pans and silver ware. They also put the breakers for the room right there in the living room so we were messing with them for awhile, and turned off the hot water while Lucas was taking a shower.
This morning went by like your dreams blur after you wash the finer details away with the wonderful morning shower. We ran at 1:45. I was sooo nervous, especially when Lucas ran a 2:02 and still handed me the baton in last place. I had so much pent up anxiety that i went crazy the first lap and ran a 57. It went pretty bad after that. I ended up running a 2:05, which isnt horrible but it isn't what i should've run. We ended up getting sixth in our heat, and eighth overall. We also ran a team best by 7 seconds. After we went home, and i took somewhat of a nap, and then at around 6 i went with my mom to borders to get the final book in the trilogy ive been reading, The Midnighters.
I had black bean chicken tonight, which is the first time in what feels like ages. Im kinda glad track is over. Everything was becoming so hectic and weird, and now i can just relax the rest of the year. Song today is I Dont Wanna Be by Gavin Degraw.
Good Night everyone (or more like, good night Kim, Alex, V, Tyler, and Billy).
