See The Man With The Lonely Eyes Take His Hand You'll Be Suprised

So it has been a wierd couple o' days. Lets see if we can try and catch up. Looks like i need to talk about saturday, sunday, and today, so lets get to it.

Saturday was the day of our Treasure Lakes Conference Championships. I got up at around 6:30, showered and dressed, ate some eggos (of course), and headed out for the long hour drive to Sebastian. When we got there we found it was perfect conditions for a good day. Little to no wind, around 75 degrees, perfect. In the 4X800, my first event, i ran a pr of 2:04 for my leg on the relay team. All together our team ran an 8:14, which is now 3rd in class 2A (plus around 10th in the whole state!. Then i rested a bit, and waited for my next event, with some fierce wall ball in between, and then around 3:30 i started the open 800. I ran a 2:09 and came in third with a great kick at the end. All together we finished in second as a team.

Sunday served as an amazingly relaxing day. Just nothing but chilaxing. I love spring break so much. No worries, no responsibilities, you can just float. Although without school its kinda hard to remember what day it is. That was basically it. I also worked around the house a lot. Boring stuff.

Today was fun. I awoke at around 8 and got ready and to go to practice. My fam dropped me off on their way to the beach. It was a hard practice. We ran a 400 at 60 seconds, 30 seconds rest, and then another 400 at 60 seconds, 15 minutes rest and then we do it again. Afterwards, i went over Jake Norris' house with josh. Then he drove me to the beach to meet up with my family. I boogie boarded a little and surfed, but it was really choppy, really hard to get out past the break.

That was about it. Bye. Song today is Give A Little Bit by Goo Goo Dolls. Good Bye.

If You Body Matches What Your Eye Can Do, You'll Probably Move Right Through Me On My Way To You

Ello everybody, im really sorry i missed last nights post, but when i got home basically just fell right to sleep.

Yesterday went pretty well, and was really laid back untill around 4 O'clock. At that moment, i realized i needed to get ready to go to Tyler's birthday party. I am quite proud to say that i was able to get completely ready to go (which included shaving, showering, and making a card for tyler) in just under 15 minutes. Unfortunately, due to circumstances that were out of my hands (uhum..mom not getting ready on time), we were still late picking sam up from his house. When we finally got to tyler's, we proceeded to play some 4 square on his back porch. But we only had 3 people, so the king was actually a combination of 4th and 1st squares. It was fun, and we did that until Kim and Alex showed up, and then we all went in the pool. It was coooooold. I only went in with much goading and pleading from the others.

After that we had some ice cream cake and tyler opened his presents. Sam got him this cool inflatable disc thing that looked like a pepperoni pizza. We then tried to fill it up, which brought about the age old question, 'How many IB sophomores does it take to blow up a disc-shaped balloon? In the end, we ended up having to use a bike tire. Then we played with it outside for a while. Afterwards we went inside and got Alex a facebook, and then it seemed all to soon sam and i had to go home.

Today was another lazy day until i went over Lucas' house for smoothie day at around 2 o' clock. It was fun, and we played Call of duty 4 the whole time. Then around 5, i went to my g-mas house. Then i had some really gooooooood spaghetti. My noo-noo (thats what we call my g-ma) makes the best spaghetti and meatball you'll ever eat. I have to eat it everytime i come over here.

Then we watched a little disturbia, and now we are about to watch Stargate. Well, i will now bid you adieu my blog readers. Song for today is Paralyzer by Finger Eleven.

G'bye.

You Are The Antidote That Gets Me By

So, its been a pretty little while since ive actually done a meaninful post. But honestly, the reasoning for this is that there hasn't really been that much to talk about. My life has come to halt, or though it seems. But it seems Spring Break has come at the perfect time. Hopefully this will be a good little rejuvinate that will put me back on track.

Today was very fast, and that was very good. After school, i went to track practice. The original plan was for josh to drop me off at my mom's work after practice, but then we decided to go to David's house with timmy and play some halo. And so we did, until 7:00. Then josh took me home. On the way home, i was able to admire the beautiful sunset happening just over the horizon. It was epic. Hopefully it is the sign of good things to come.

Well, my blog readers, it is now time to leave you and tend my nightly activities, so good bye. Song today is So Cold by Crossfade.

I Hear The Secrets That You Keep When You're Talking In Your Sleep

Siiiiiiigh. Life. Get over it. I am. And i have nothing to say why, i just state i am. So there.

School was alright and wasn't, if that makes sense. I really want to do something, something that would be a change for the better and would be awesome, but i still can't bring myself to do it. I don't know why, and i really need to just man up and do it, but still i sit around and do nothing.

Nothing much else to report on, besides the fact that i recently came back in touch with someone i haven't talked to in a while. Arielle Mayper, from my elementary school. I haven't seen her since the sixth grade, and go figure, yesterday she writes me something on my wall. Its kinda cool cause the only other person i still talk to from that long ago is Robby.

Well, its late and i want to get to bed, cause we have a workout tomorrow and i don't wanna be dragging. Today's song is Talking in your sleep by the romantics.

All This Is Feels Strange And Untrue

Well, this is my first time missing a post in 43 straight days. I'm really miffed over this. I had a nice little healthy streak going, and then one weekend comes along and knocks it all over. Oh well.

Now, to start the recap. On friday i had the Holy Trinity Elite Invitational in Melbourne, and it started around 3 O' clock. We came in second in the 4X800 (while posting the second fastest time in class 2A), and i also ran the open 800 and placed fourth. After it was done, however, it took really long to calculate the scores, and i ended up staying till 10:30 waiting for them to announce the winners. It turned out that we ended up edging out the other school, 167-163. Then we took a short trip down the road to my aunt and uncles house, where i promptly fell asleep as soon as i hit the couch.

Then on saturday, after awaking from my very uncomfortable slumber, i had to wait until my family got back from my cousin's football game, so i watched signs for the first time in a long while. Man that movie is good. Then they got home, and we finally made the trip back to my house. Then we got home, and no sooner than i had taken a shower and gotten changed than we were leaving to go over the Corrado's (the daughter's on madelin's basketball team). It was a lot of fun, we colored eggs, ate shrimp and lobster scampi, and then went in their pool. We also watched the invisble (which is another great movie by the way), and we ended up getting home at 1 O' clock in the morning. I was too tired to blog, and i went right to bed.

Then today i could only sleep till 9, and woke up and did some web surfin to see what i had missed the last couple of days. I basically slouched the rest of the day, until some of my family came over and had easter dinner and a small egg hunt. I sorta got started on Spooney's Jekyll and Hyde essay, but im gonna have to finish it up tomorrow in harriman, cause i can't think straight right now.

Well, thats it. It doesn't seem like too much now that ive condensed the whole thing into three paragraphs. But it was. Song today is Open Your Eyes by Snow Patrol.

Its about time we had a renaissance

So, what a completely dumb thursday. I mean seriously, it seems if this week has been getting worse and worse since its gone on. It started out really bad in 1st period when i got my progress report from mrs. lugo and found i had a c. I've never gotten a c. I like flipped out. I was so mad, i couldn't even pay attention in Brazee, or during that ring presentation thing. Luckily i was able to find the assignment that the crazy lady didn't mark down for me, and i will now have a b. But still, a b, it really sucks.

Then the day didn't get much better, what with another stupid lesson in Chemistry (although im glad i get it), and a grading day in Engineering. Then i did a few pages of content in harriman and just chilaxed the rest of the period.

On a somewhat unrelated note, ive found i must vent a passionate frustration of mine. It really sucks when your talking to someone, and they feeling down or theres a perfect moment to say something meaningful and with value, to make them feel better, or just brighten up thier day. I am definitely one of those people. I can never ever say the right thing at the right time. Its like i just freeze up. And later when i by myself thinking about it, i can think of the perfect thing to say , that wouldve been awesome, but its too late then. I hate that. Siiiiiigh.

Tomorrow's the Holy Trinity meet, which is one of the biggest meets in the state. Im running the 4X800 and the 800 meter run. Im so glad theres no school tomorrow.

I think im gonna wrap this up, cause i want to get some rest for tomorrow's meet. The title of today's post isn't from any song that ive been able to find, but it is in the music to the opening of Miss Guided, this new show on thats pretty good. You should definitely check it out.

Bye bye everyone.

And Sometimes You Close Your Eyes And See The Place Where You Used To Live

May i ask who can finish the line started in the title? Props to anyone who can, cause its not one of there more popular songs (although it was on guitar hero 3). But today was stupid. Loads upon loads of stupidness. It really sucked. It was all in first period, with the crazy old bat they are disguising as a teacher. She is really off the wall stupid. The things she says and does just don't add up, and sometimes you just want to smack her.

But drifting away from that, the rest of the day went pretty smoothly, and i got to finish all my spanish in engineering, and i made this super cool pic in photoshop today. Then i went to the County Championships after school. I ran the mile first, and i did horrible. I went out on pace, but i just couldn't keep it, and ended up running a dismal 5:14. But i kinda redeemed myself in the 800 when i ran a 2:08 and finished fourth. No medals today. Oh well.

Then we went to sonics after wards, and i got the godly Apple juice slush they have there. I mean seriously its the best beverage ive ever tasted. I go to sonic just for that drink (cause the food kinda sucks). Then i got on and talked to tyler and eileene for a while, and now i have to go do some of my chores.

So this is where this post ends. Now ill just slide to my room.

Byes.

You Say We're Too Young But Maybe Your Too Old To Remember

Well, a boring useless tuesday, in which more work was assigned to us than there has been in the past two weeks combined. I am however, glad to announce that i finished all and am sitting here a free, worry less man. I can just sit back and relax the rest of the night.

Nothing much happened today, except i probably wrote almost 5,000 words today with all the notes there were. I had notes not only in Brazee and chemistry, but in Engineering as well. It sucked. Web masters was really wierd today without Harriman there to brighten it up. Instead we had Charby. Even though hes pretty cool, he lacks Harriman's, well, bounce.

There was also no practice today, which kinda sucked, cause i had to ride my bus home. At least we got our old bus back, because for the last few weeks we've had 335, one of those old ratchety buses. Siiiiigh. Well, nothing much more to talk about, cause life the past two days has been pretty dull. Hopefully that will all change tomorrow at the meet. Its the St. Lucie County Champioships, and i am running the mile and the half-mile. It should be fun. Wish me luck!

Im gonna bring this sad little post to a close, so good night all you readers. Song today is Who's To Say by Vanessa Carlton.

Gooooooooood Night

Feeling All Alone Without A Friend You Know Feel Like Dying

Well, today was really blah. Half asleep throughout the entire day. Today was the Nerd to Retard Transformation test. It was the same lousy crap that its been since third grade.

Well, i don't really have that much to talk about, so i won't. Some new issues presenting themselves, but beaten back by ingenuity. If you can make sense of that, your a psychic.

While Everyones Lost, The Battle Is Won With All These Things That Ive Done

Well, another lazy Sunday, but with a twist. I woke up at 7:15 this morning to go watch my sis's 8:15 basketball game. I was really tired. 13 hours of sleep in two days (with an exhausting track meet in between) can do that to you. Im sorry, let me explain. See, when i posted last night in the lobby, i went back to my room expecting the night to be over. But to my great suprise, my dad said that he wanted to order a movie pay-per-view. We looked at the list, and i saw a movie i didn't get to see while it was in the movie theaters. It was Juno. So we ordered it and stayed up till one watching. It was reeally good. It was that quarky comedy that i just love.

So back to today. After my sis's game (which they lost, but still got runner-up cause there were only two teams in their age bracket), we went to get dunkin donuts. It was really funny cause one of the dad's got a boston creme, only to find there was no creme in the middle. We laughed about that one for a while.

Then we took the long drive home, and when i got home i watched a few mythbusters. Then around five one of the families from basketball came to our house for dinner and pizza (it was the one with the little girl rihanna who i had to entertain last night). So they talked while the other kids played, and of course the little girl made me play with her for an hour and a half. Then around 7:30 they left.

Well anyways, im gonna wrap this up. I didn't do any hw esta fin de semana, but oh well. Sometimes its nice to just relax for a couple of days and not think about that stuff. The song today is...anyone hazard a guess...anyone...? Alright, its All These Things That I've Done by The Killers.

G'night.

edit================
Oh my gosh guys, post number 40. Didn't even realize till afterwards. And 39 straight days. But who's counting?

If I Could Fall Into the Sky, Do You Think Time Would Pass Me By?

Well, today was an unusual saturday (i think i spelt unusual wrong, but theres no spell check on this computer, so give me a break). I woke up at 8:45 and took a shower, had some waffles, and then with my G-ma, we took a long ride to Boca Raton to see my sisters basketball tournament. We got there just in time to watch her second game (the first had been the previous night). They were playing girls who were all taller than me! They lost 51-12. It wasn't pretty. But then we went back to our hotel, and i went in the pool. It would've been cool and relaxing, but all the little girls on the team (their ages 10-12) went with me, so i was like the baby-sitter. I was stuck like that for an hour, until my mom came and relieved me of my duties. Then i decided i needed to go for a run.

It was pretty cool, cause i had no idea where i was, i just sorta made sure i knew how to get back. There was this pond i ran around, and there was this shady corner around the pond, and i went through all nice and happy, and then this explosion of feathers quacks at me, scaring the crap out of me. When i got back, i took a shower and we all went to this place called the macaroni grille, which was in walking distance. I had the tuscan rib-eye, and it was amazing. I sat with Tia-rose and her parents, cause there was no room at my mom and dads table. It was fun, cause her mom is so hysterical all the time, we never stopped laughing.

Then we came back and i decided i wanted to go swimming. Then Tia and Rihanna joined me (Rihanna is the 4-year old sister of one of the girls on the team, Tia runs track with me, also has a sister on the team). That little girl is so funny. She kept saying that tia and i couldn't talk, and we had to behave, or we'd have to go to time-out (the hot tub). A few hours and some very pruny fingers later, we were upstairs watching some law and order. Then tia went back to her room, and i remembered i had to post. So here i am, making this post from the lobby of my hotel, from one of there computers.

Well, the janitor is eyeing me kinda wierd, so im gonna wrap this up and run back to my room really fast like. I was about to type the song of the day, but see if you can figure it out by the title.

Bye Byes y'all.

I'm Gonna Free Fall Out Into Nothing; I'm Gonna Leave This World For A While

Well well well, what a friday. good evenin' ladies and gents, and put your hats up and relax for a while, and take a short glance at my thoughts and feelings on the day in general. All english references aside, it was a pretty good day. The day started out pretty good. In spanish, we finished the dirty dancing movie. Melissa Milford was sooo funny because she was being well, Melissa. If you have class with her you know what i mean.

Then in Spooney we watched the movie we were suppossed to watch yesterday in her class, the one called 'Why Shakespearre'. Then she talked about our silhoutte (Oh my god i can't believe i spelled that right on the first try!) picture that is due after spring break, that apparrently none of her other classes are doing, isn't that nice. Us third period kids always get the short end of the stick.

Then in Gieger it was pretty fun trying to do a lab following the directions of an idiot. Instead of letting use our perfect procedure that i spent an hour and a half on yesterday in harriman, we switched up with someone else's procedure, and they were really underprepared. Oh Well.

Then in harriman, i decided i wanted to do some content, but i didn't want to do a tutorial. So i decided to just try to do so free form stuff. I started out with a few lens flares, and then did a liquify, and went from there. I produced 3 pages of content from that one idea, and even kim said they looked pretty good. Illbe sure to post them on monday when i go to her class.

Then i went to the meet at Lawnwood after school. The meet started with my event, the 4X800 meter relay, which is a relay with 4 guys who each run 2 laps around the track. We won, even though i did horrible. Then i ran again in the mile medley (4 guys, run a 200-200-400-800, i was the 800 leg) about 3 hours later (there was a rain delay), and i did pretty good. We had the lead when i got the baton, but with about a half a lap to go, Brian suarez passed me. I stayed with him up until the last 50 meters, when i hit the wall. But hes the top runner in the state, so i did pretty good considering.

then i did the 4X400 meter relay, and i ran pr (personal record) of 55 seconds flat. since it was the last event, i waited untill they announced the results, and it turned out we had won the whole meet. We went crazy, youd think we'd won the state meet. Then luc gave me a ride to my G-mas house, and here i am typing my blog on my G-mas slow dial-up computer. It took me 15 minutes to get to my posting page. Siiigh.

Ima wrap this up. Song today is Free Falling by Tom Pettey. Go to seeqpod and take a listen.

In A World Where What We Want Is Only What We Want Until It Ours

So, thursday, almost through the tyranny that is our local educational system. Today was pretty fun, and i got an enormous amount of work done. In my first period spanish, we watched Havana Night Dirty Dancing. It was pretty good, and allowed for much ridicule among the class. Then in second, we took a little bit of notes, and i got back my essay and found that i had gotten an 85 on it. Oh well. Then in Spooner (which was across from Engineering today), we watched a movie on Shakespeare that we must have watched a dozen times last year in Mr. Hussan's class. Then with like 5 mintues left in class, she gives us a crossword puzzle and says its due by tomorrow!

In Gieger, Me and Chris Yates created the perfect lab, i mean it, its pretty good. Then i spent all Harrimans working on typing it up. I also found in Harriman that i had a 162.3, which was almost 20 points ahead of Tim, who had a 143.8, so that was pretty cool. Of course, Kim had like a 300.

At practice i found out that i was going to be running in the 4X400 meter relay tomorrow along with my other events. I also found out that it was going to be the slowest team ever, so we're probably going to come in last. Oh well.

I spent almost an hour on facebook tonight messing around with my profile, and taking a trivia on How I Met Your Mother and the Office, two very good shows. Then i finished my hw in Math (which was so hard because Mrs. Reynen was lazy and didn't start our notes until late, so we barely even got started when the bell rang!). I just got finished packing everything for the weekend. After the meet tomorrow, ima stay at my G-mas house for the night, and then we are all going down to Boca Raton (yay for the rats mouth) to watch my sister's basketball tournament. But im just going to chilax and stay in the pool at the hotel. Oh Yeah!

Im gonna go and get some rest for the meet tomorrow, so seeya'll. Song today is Calling All Angels by Train (which made me cry at the end of pay it forward). i'm working on finding a new site to get links to for music, so bare with me.

I'll Just Slide To My Room Where I Will Run Away, Run Away

Wehehhhel, today was infinitely boring. The FCAT torture again. This time it was the math, and it was definitely easier than yesterday, but somehow it took longer to finish. I went extra slow like i wanted to, and i think i aced it. Except i know i got at least one partial on that graphing problem, with the system equations. That one just befuddled me to no end.

Afterwards, i went to engineering for like 10 minutes for a boring review (which we didn't finish), and then off to harrimans, where me and Tim had a content page showdown. Going into the period, both tim and i had 4 pages of content, but i wanted to have more, so while we were waiting for mrs. harriman to finish helping mrs. mauro unpack some things i did another tutorial. So Tim decides he doesn't want to be upstaged, and also does a tutorial. Then i do one, and he another. We go on like this, and he eventually won reaching 10 pages of content to my nine. But when he was explaining how he did the tutorials to Mrs Harriman, he forgot how he did one of them, so she wouldn't give him the credit, and we tied!

Then in Reynen i played some mad speed scrabble with Robby, Tyler, Kim, Josh, and Tim. I was on a roll in one game until i got a Q. Oh well. Practice today was light, just 4 300's at around 45 second pace (with 5 minutes rest), and then 3 whistlers. In a whistler, everyone starts out in a huddle at the 200 meter mark, and we jog slowly and pick up the speed slightly along the way. From the 130 meter mark to the 100 meter mark, someone has to decide they want to start sprinting to the finish, and then everyone has to go catch him. They're pretty fun.

Tonight i came home and totally destroyed Brazee's essay. Wrote the whole thing in an hour and a half. Its 3 pages and just shy of 800 words, but Tyler said i need to elaborate some more, so ill tweak it a little bit.

Soo, ima wrap this doggey up. Song today is Slide by Goo Goo Dolls. Take a listen, cause its a great song.

Love Is Like Oxygen; You Get Too Much You Get Too High, Not Enough And You Can't Survive

Ahh, FCAT's. 4 periods wasted a day and no homework. Gods gift to kids. It was sooo easy and i got to sleep a lot. It was nice. Engineering was lacksadaisical, and in web masters i did some work on a way to make a color pic b&w. It was a little fun. I also did another page of content. woot woot.

In math i got back my test and found i had a 95 (with the points unfortunately). They were dumb mistakes too, like i put the wrong letter down, and i multiplied wrong. Oh well, i know i won't make those mistakes tomorrow, cause ima go extra slow.

Practice today was over fast, at like 3:30, but i had to wait for my mom to pick me up, so Josh, Luc, Ebanx, Landon, and Alex yesulitis all had a long jump competition. I was in the lead for a while, but then Alex ended up jumping really far in the end, and beating all of us. Im still trying to get the sand out of my shoes.

I came home, and then i sorta loafed around for 2 hours, at some dinner, played some Who has the Biggest Brain, and then took a shower. I just got out and have been having a nice convo with Billy (sam's friend from Massachusetts).

Im gonna wrap this up. I realize this post has been somewhat sloppy and all over the place, but im a little loopy right now. Song today is Love Is Like Oxygen by ELO. Unfortunadad, i am unable to find this song again. Go to seeqpod if you really want to listen to it.

Its Like Ten Thousand Spoons When All You Need Is A Knife

Well well, a Monday again. Oh well, i guess the week could only get better. Or could it? Could this all really be a ploy to trick human beings into being huge batteries to power the a.i. that already controls the world? Oh wait, thats the matrix. Maybe theres a secret underground facility that is planning a deadly T-virus that will turn the entire world into zombies! Nevermind, thats Resident Evil.

All apocalypse theories aside, today does restart the cycle that is inevitably apart of every child's life in someway or another. The cycle of the a kid waking up every morning 5 days a week to be spoonfed knowledge, and lose more brain cells in the process from lack of sleep and crazed school systems. Its archaic i tell you!

Anyways, before that comes a rant... lets get onto the interesting parts of the day. We have FCAT's tomorrow, so naturally every teacher in the school is going crazy making a HUGE deal out of a little test. Please, really? So stupid, im not even going to get into it. But Mrs. Lugo's class was soooo funny today. We had a long discussion that eventually led to Japanese kids who eat cats. Don't even ask how we got there. But it was hilarious.

Day was pretty much the same old-same old, except for in Harrimans when i decided im going to start overachieving in her class. I did three content grades today. You heard me, three. And i got moved to a computer that actually plays sound, but with my luck it will lose it tomorrow. Practice today was a doozy. We did 5 sets of a 4oo-thirty seconds rest-then a 200, with a 1200 rest in between. The pace was 64 for the 400, and 28 for the 200. But, I am happy to announce that i was able to keep pace the entire workout, even going a little under for the 400's. I was rewarded with the post-workout headache i am becoming all too familiar with.

Tonight a strange occurance took place. My cat had gotten out, and i went to chase her, and when i caught her, as i was bringing her inside i noticed the clouds to the northwest of my house were looking really good. So i got the camera and went outside and took a quick look out at to my right, and saw a beautiful rainbow. It was so weird, a rainbow in broad daylight, with no rain preceding it. It was amazing. So i took some great pictures. When i get them onto the computer, ill be sure to put them on (even stranger was the fact that it was gone in less than two minutes, so im gonna find out what happened with that).

So im gonna wrap this up, and go to bed in preparation for the "FCAT's". Song today is Ironic by Alanis Morissette. Take a listen. Now. Just kidding, but please take a listen.
Unfortunately, im having trouble finding a link for this track, so i might post it later if i can find it. But if you want to, you can go to seeqpod.com and check it out!

So Take These Words And Sing Out Loud

Well, you gotta love Sundays. They serve the beautiful purpose of total relaxation. Usually I enjoy my Sundays by sitting on my butt and watching some tv while eating almost non-stop. Then ill usually go running around five. And thats basically all i did today. Except for doing Brazee's essay in under a half hour. It actually isn't that bad either. Well, i also took some pretty good pictures of the sunset, although i had to bike a mile to get a good shot. It was worth it though, cause the sunset tonight was b-e-a-utiful.

Anyways, there isn't really much to report on today, as there isn't really much that happened. Oh, but i did watch The Rundown, which i haven't seen in too too long. Gosh that movie makes me laugh. But i think im gonna wrap this whole thing up for now. The song for today is Better Days by Goo Goo Dolls. Take a listen.

I'm A Sycophantic Courtier With An Elegant Repose

So, how are you doing blog reader. Your probably pretty bored if your reading my blog. Well, straying from the all-to-obvious, lets get to today. Today was the Bill Wilson Relays in Sebastian. Its kinda weird waking up at 6:30 on a saturday, but oh well. I ran in the 4X800, the first event. We did pretty good, and we were in first when i handed the baton off to the anchor leg, Lucas. But the guy from the other team destroyed us, and we came in second. Thats okay, cause we got a shiny silver medal for our efforts.

A few hours of huddling up underneath the stadium to get out of the wind and then i ran again, this time in the Steeplechase. The steeplechase is probably the most interesting race i have ever run. Basically it is a two mile race (around 7 and a half laps around a track), but the trick is there are hurdles three lanes wide in 4 spots around the track. And also, there is a final hurdle on the first curve, which is special, because directly behind the hurdle is a water pit that is 4 feet deep behind the hurdle, and then gently slopes out. It was crazy fun. The first lap i was running and everyone was so bunched up that when we got to the water hurdle, i messed up and ended up falling waist deep in the pit. Now, it was 60 degrees out with a 20 mph wind, so i was a little cold after that. The rest of the race went pretty fine, and there was this kid who was running in front of me that jumped over the water hurdle and did a flip cannon ball into it. It was crazy!

The event was scored by adding up the time of the runners participating. My team of three (me, Davis Mahon, and Lucas Simari) came in second, and i got my second silver of the day. It was pretty nice. Then i went home and have been surfing the internet for the past few hours, pausing in between to watch a little tv here and there. Well, i have to write an essay for brazee, but i really don't wanna, and im probably gonna end up putting it off till tomorrow night. Oh well, i am a artisan in the way of the procrastination. Its a curse.

Well, ima wrap this doggy up, so thanks for taking time out of your day to read my thoughts. Song for today is Come Undone by Vanessa Carlton. Enjoy. Unfortunately this song is also not on project playlist, so ima have to find an alternative source of links from now on.

Or Am I Standing Still?

Wellllllll, today was much longer than it seemed to be. Not really, but sometimes i just have things in my head i wanna say, even though they make no sense. I can't help it. Oh well.

Today in third period Mrs. Spooner gave us another illustration assignment, this time for Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Its not that i don't like assignments like this, its just that it frustrates me. I am a horrible drawer. I have no misconceptions about this. But i always have a vision of what i want to draw, what i feel would be a great response for assignments like this, but irritatingly enough, i am unable to put these feelings down on the paper visually. I could probably write a thousand words to describe it, but i can't ever give you a visual representation close to what i aim for. It frustrates me to no end. Every time i try to attempt to, it comes out horribly wrong. Aaaahhhhhh. Siiiiigh.

Onwards. The day was pretty normal, except i spent at least 2 and a half hours playing 3D logic 2. I was bored in Harrimans, so Kim and i played it allllll period. She did slightly better than i. But then when i got to Reynen, i was already finished with the FCAT practice test, so she let me get on the computer and i played it alllll period. It was pretty good. Then i went to practice, and then afterwards we had smoothie day. See, it was a tradition started back during cross country season. The day before a meet, we would all go to Lucas' house, and have some smoothies and watch Southpark and Mythbusters. This is the first smoothie day of the Track season, and hopefull there will be many more to come. We played some Call of Duty 4 and watched some crazy videos on youtube (including tree man, its crazy you gotta check it out).

Well, im gonna go to bed to get ready for the meet tomorrow, so ima get some z's. Bye y'all.
Song today is Standing Still by Jewel. But unfortunately, this is the first song i am unable to find on project playlist. Ill try and find it, if i do, ill put it on later.

Say you Say me Say goodbye

ps. i finally was able to play a game of Who Has The Biggest Brain on facebook and get all of my best categories. It showed, cause i got a 2109! But im still 4th behind Christopher Robin, Bubbles, and Kusie. Im gettin there though.

The Dawn Is Breaking

Well, i have been brought down to earth today, in a manner of speaking. Well, today Kim and i were talking during Harriman, and she said she didn't read my blog sometimes because it wasn't that interesting. I realize now that she is right. I need to cut out all the extraneous information and only put the stuff that really is interesting. Soo......here goes.

Today was normal for the most part. But it wasn't, if that makes sense. Today was cloudy and stormy and rainy, enough to put anyone in a depressing mood. It was amazing today. I love it when its like this outside. The rhythmic drumming of the rain combined with the oppressing clouds and wonderful post rain smells give such a feeling, it is indescribable. Siigh.

Today in Geiger Sam and I had a heated battle of the minds. First we played that dot game when you have to fill in one line at a time, and the person who makes the most boxes win. He, of course won that one cause im really bad at that looking ahead stuff. Then in a high stakes game of tic tac toe, i came out on top. We finished in a tie, our prowess matched. In harriman, i did something pretty cool. I went and did an advanced photoshop tutorial, and produced a better result than Kim. It was a good moment, however short lived it may have been.

Well, that was pretty much it for the day, other than its still raining, and im still lovin it. I hope its still raining when i go to sleep, so i will be able to go to sleep. Song for today is Collide by Howie Day. If you've ever watched When Harry Met Sally, you'll appreciate this.

Im up here running in repeat

Well, it seems as though my life is starting to become a short continuous that some unknown hand resets each night whilst i sleep and then back to the same thing. Day after day hour after hour minute after minute. Every is suddenly becoming boring, becoming stale. I need something spontaneous, something crazy to kick start my life again.

Let me explain what happens in my average life: I get up, take a shower, eat waffles, and catch the bus. I listen to my ipod and watch the sunrise every morning on the trip to school. When i get there i walk to first period where i usually find the Cinco De Amigos, and we sit and hang out until we go into Spanish for another spanish class with the crazy lady. Then the bell rings, we walk to brazee, and i sit in his class, take a buttload of notes, and then at the end of class go talk with 4 of the Cinco De Amigos. In third period, Mrs. Spooner always says hi, and i back, then i try to stay awake for the next hour in her class (i don't know why but thats always my low point in the day), then i trudge over to Gieger, in which i sit next to sam and we chuckle and make our stupid jokes that nobody usually gets but us, and try to listen to Gieger. I then travel to Engineering, and usually either listen to Mr. Hueter babble on about some pressing topic or work on Autodesk Inventor in the computer. Sixth period is probably the most fun of the day, sitting next to Tim and Kim doing photoshop and surfing the internet when im bored. Then i go to lunch, and finally algebra, where Reynen gives notes or reviews a lesson or something like that. Then, during season, i make my way to Luc's car to get a ride to practice, where i run and hang out for two and half hours. Then i go home, watch tv, eat, and go on the computer.

That happens every weekday. The weekends are basically me lying on my butt all day and watching tv. My life is slowly becoming that boring soap opera where nothing ever happens, everyone goes on about their regular life. Oh, and nobody ever watches, cause it sucks on ice.

I don't know. But i know im sounding really morbid today, and im sorry for anyone who read this stupid reflection on my boring life. Oh well. Somewhere in this darkness theres a light that i can't find. Maybe its too far away, or maybe im just blind.

Im gonna wrap this up y'all. Song today is Top of the World by Juliana Theory.

Love Is Not A Victory March

....its a cold and its a broken, Hallelujah. Sorry, im listening to that song right now (Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley), and for some reason i really like that song.
Anyways, today. Many decisions were confronted today, and most were left unresolved. Again, sorry to be so mysterious, but you know. The sunrise was beautiful again today for the second day in a row. I only say this because for some reason i find it inexplicably hard to go to sleep on the bus, and when we are passing by the Okeechobee exit on 95 in the morning, we come at the perfect time to watch the sunrise. It was pretty cloudy and desolate last week, but these past mornings have been breathtaking.

Got to school and LPA once again proved how unbelievable stupid they are. I'm not even kidding. They are so disorganized in their decision making. I mean, the bus drill today was the perfect example of my well-based point. Instead of using the system which has worked for several years, they tried to do all the buses at the same time. So notwithstanding i got to my Spanish class late (the only silver lining to this cloud). But also, many kids didn't get to go to breakfast because of this. Now i eat my breakfast at home, but i know of many kids who depend on school breakfast. I think this is immensely unfair.

Anyways, before that becomes a rant, the rest of the day went somewhat normally, with the usual bombardment of notes in Brazee, the boring FCAT work in Spooney, more videos in Gieger, a lecture in Engineering, and homework in web masters. I usually use this class to finish any work i have to do for the day. It works out well. Then finally there was more FCAT work in Math, and to top it off, no Track practice, one of the only reasons i brave the day at school is the knowledge that i will be able to go to practice at the end. That and the numerous friends that i am currently starting to acquire as of late.

I came home and watched a DVD that Mr. Hensley (track assistant coach) gave me to watch. It was called 'Fire On the Track'. It was a documentary Steve Prefontaine. Pretty much all who actually read this blog will not know that name. Pre (his nickname) was one of the greatest distance runners of all time. When he died prematurely in a car crash at age 24, he held every American record from 2,000 to 10,000 meters. He also ran the third fastest 3 mile of all time the day before he died. It was very inspiring, and afterwards i went for what i wanted to be a light five miles, but didnt end up that way. I did the first four with seemingly no effort at seven minute pace, and then i decided to see what i could do for the final mile. I took off and ended up running a 5:21. After already running 4 miles pretty hard. I was very pleased.

Im gonna wrap this one up before it gets too long (too late). Song today is Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley.

I'm Already Torn

Well, today was a day of great happenings, both noticeable and others not. It was a day that was filled with good news, and it seemed like for the first time in a long, long while i might be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, i might be able to balance all three weights which i now keep juggling throughout the air in front of me. In my right hand, perpetually moving from disheartening to inspiring, is my school life. It is the most important thing right now (mostly), and i try to keep the most attention on this weight. In my left i hold my home life, which has been smooth sailing for awhile now, with the few bumps and rocks along the way. The normal stuff. But in the final hand, the hand that i extend from my heart, i hold my social life.Although i place the least importance on this hand in my mind, it might be the most difficult to balance and keep up. This weight is heaviest, the one that can so easily fall out of whack with the littlest bit of a nudge in the wrong direction. For quite awhile, this hand was ignored, for there was little need for it.

But over the past year and a half, i have developed friendships that will last me to the end of my days. I have made many friends, some more highly regarded than others, but friends nonetheless. What with tight bondage of my cross country team and the great friends that have arisen from it, and the newly formed Cinco de Amigos, with whom i am deeply indebted to for so many things on so many levels.

But now, it seems as though the last component of these Trinity may finally have come to be realized. Although nothing definitive can be said, there is hope, and from hope springs possibility. And well, A Posse Ad Esse. It is the name of my blog, and it means a lot to me. In english, it means from possibility to actuality. Hopefully this can become true for me.

Today was great. Spanish was boring as usual, I aced Brazee's test, and Spooner's quiz (although it was slightly harder than i thought it would be). After a movie day in Gieger, i was walking down the hall towards Engineering when Timmy (Senior, on the Cross Country team and my 4X800 Meter team) ran over to me all excited and told me that our 4X800 team time was ranked fifth in the ENTIRE state. In class 2A, we were ranked 2nd. That wouldve been the highlight of my day, if not for what would unfold in fifth period. I was sitting there doing nothing (having finished all my work), and i was informed of some information that very much delighted me. I won't really come out and say it, but Sam you should probably get this. I learned that a ship that i thought had sailed long ago has returned to port and is once again ready to sail with new sails. All metaphors aside, this was momentous and troubling at the same time. Not only did it leave my excited, it left me somewhat pensive about the conflict this might present within myself.

Well, this post will now come to an end, leaving many of you blog readers befuddled and wanting more information. I know, i came be somewhat mysterious at times. Its just my way. I'm sorry. Well, im gonna wrap this up cause its getting late. Song today is Torn by Natalie Umbruglia.

The Angry Boy A Bit Too Insane

Well, today was just blah. I did basically nothing all day except for rest and eat a whole bunch load of crap food, mostly consisting of saltines, pretzels, pringles, jalepeno cheetos, and grapes (which aren't actually junk food, but thats the only one). I feel so fat right now. Oh my god. I totally just sounded like a girl. What is wrong with me?

Anyways, straying from that mildly disturbing topic, i got up and ate some pancakes while watching disturbia. Then i proceeded to watch 300, Field of Dreams (thats going on the list Sam), and some mythbusters. Then at around 5:00, i realized i should start my homework. So i did all of Spooneys text marking, (while eating some really good sloppy joes) and then tried to make up some work that my crazy spanish teacher lost. After i finally finished doing the whole thing online, i couldn't get it to print. I went a little crazy, and ended up throwing a plastic bat into my canal. I was preeeety mad. After i cooled down, instead of writing it all down (which i refused to do), i went through the process of putting the whole thing onto a google page, and then copying it onto Microsoft word, then printing it. I know, that prolly took way longer than writing it, but i reeealy didn't want to write tonight.

So now, i figure im gonna go take a shower, and then eat some bagel bites. Song today is Jumper by Third Eye Blind. Listen. Now.

Late Night, Brakes Lock, Hear The Tires Squeal

Today was sooooo long. And yet, it feels as though it passed with the blink of an eye. My day started at 8 o'clock, when i got up to go to my meet. I arrived at around 9:15, and i ran my first event of the day, the 4X800 meters (that means four by 800 meters, or 4 guys who each run a half a mile), and we did pretty good. I ran a 2:05 (after going out waaayy too fast in 57), and we finished a close second.

Then i went home, ate some subway, rested up, and ventured back to the meet around 3:30, to find out that the meet was running an hour and a half behind. So instead of running at 4:25 like i was supposed to, i didn't run until 6:00. I did pretty good, running a 2:05 again (for the half-mile), and finishing sixth overall. Then i found out that i had to stay and run the 4X400 meters, which was the last event. That sucked royally.

I finally ended up running that at 8:50, and we did really bad. We came in eighth place, out of eight. Then i hitched a ride with Josh Wiater to the Mickey D's on US1, and my mom came and picked me up. I just got home, and had to blog. You know how it is. Anyways, im gonna wrap it up and go to bed. Song today is The Artist In the Ambulance by Thrice.
